Maisa Obeid, a Ph.D. candidate at Lancaster University UK, possesses extensive expertise in accessibility and inclusion. As a certified international accessibility specialist and Assistive Technology Professional with 15 years’ experience, Maisa currently serves as the UAE country representative for the G3ICT initiative. Where she supports global cities to be more inclusive in the context of the UN SDGs (#11), the UN Habitat III New Urban Agenda, and the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
