Sultan Nasser Al-Amri

Sultan Al-Amri is the first deaf Arabic broadcaster. He is the awarded winner for Sultan Qaboos for volunteering. He founded the Institute of Communication Training and is the specialist for sign language education. He is currently the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Omani Society for persons with hearing disabilities 2015 – 2021. Moreover, Sultan is the current CEO of Hyatt Information Technology S.A.L.

Sultan Al-Amri has been awarded the first place in Mada – Alecso award for best mobile application in 2020 – 2021. The awarded solution is called “SignBook”, a mobile application that aims to assists persons with hearing disabilities to access and enjoy services provided by various government and private sections. The applications allows an inclusive community by providing services on an equal bases.
