Tameem and Reem Founder (CO), Jordan

As a deaf person, I know how it feels to be left out of the classroom. Tameem Wa Reem was created so no child feels that way again. My mission is to empower deaf children to learn in their own language, on their own terms, and to know that they are not limited by their hearing but defined by their potential. Innovation is not just about technology—it’s about breaking down barriers and building futures.

Mamoun Odeh

Mamoun Odeh is a visionary Jordanian educator, entrepreneur, and accessibility advocate who is deaf himself. Drawing from his lived experience, Mamoun has dedicated his career to transforming how deaf children in the Arab world access education. He is the founder of Tameem Wa Reem, a pioneering digital platform that provides interactive and inclusive learning experiences tailored specifically for deaf learners.

Through Tameem Wa Reem’s website and mobile app, Mamoun has built a comprehensive educational ecosystem that features sign language-integrated video lessons, an intuitive Learning Management System (LMS), live and recorded sessions, and accessible assessment tools. His approach goes beyond simply translating content—it reimagines how deaf children engage with knowledge by centering their linguistic and cultural identity.

Mamoun’s leadership in inclusive education has been recognized regionally. In partnership with the Mada Innovation Program in Qatar, he has expanded Tameem Wa Reem’s reach and technological sophistication, bringing high-quality, accessible Arabic educational content to children across the region. His work is not only reshaping education, but also setting a new standard for innovation led by and for people with disabilities.
